A358 closed near Chard after lorry brings down electricity pole
A main road on the Somerset-Devon border is likely to be closed for most of the day after a lorry collided with an electricity pole.
The A358 between Chard and Axminster has been closed in both directions at Tytherleigh following the incident, which happened at around 9.50am this morning near Hill View Farm.

"It appears that a lorry has collided with an electricity pole and as a result another vehicle has been damaged," said a Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman.
"The road is likely to be closed until 5.30pm while Western Power deal with the cables."
