Insp Jamie Rees said: "This was a very successful day of action. We carried out a number of warrants from the early hours of the morning with teams looking at a range of offences, such as drugs offences, theft and burglary.

"The arrests have included arrests for non-payment of fines and for failing to appear at court. All these offences have had an impact on a victim somewhere down the line and we are determined to bring those responsible to justice."
