2012 Christmas Cracker 10k results: Shaun Antell wins in Weston-super-Mare

Shaun Antell went one better than last year to win this morning's Christmas Cracker 10k on the beach at Weston-super-Mare.

Runner-up in 2011, Bristol & West AC runner Antell won today's race in a time of 33mins 22secs after coming out on top in a battle with Serpentine RC man Richard Phillips.

    Ronnie Richmond finished third

Phillips was second in 33:58, while North Devon Road Runners' Ronnie Richmond was third in 34:32.

Jessie Sanzo won the women's race with a time of 37:43 that was also good enough for 10th overall.

Bristol & West AC's Annabel Granger was second in 38:23, for 14th overall, while Exmouth Harriers' Ellie Sutcliffe was third and 18th overall in 38:55.
