Over £20,000 worth of machinery seized in Ilchester
Police in Ilchester have seized more than £20,000 worth of machinery which they suspect to be stolen.
A trailer was among the items discovered and was confirmed as being stolen from a property in East Lambrook earlier this month.
A search warrant was carried out on Thursday, February 7 by neighbourhood beat officers, specialist investigators and roads policing officers.
Officers also seized an Ifor Williams livestock trailer stolen from Devon in 2004, two Ifor Williams flatbed trailers that had the identifying marks removed or changed, a hydraulic tipper trailer and a Massey Ferguson tractor.

A horse lorry was seized on behalf of Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs as it was believed to be running on red diesel.
PCSO Matt Tailby said: "We have since identified the tipper trailer as having been stolen from Somerset earlier in the month and one of the Ifor Williams trailers was stolen from Dorset in February 2011.
"Some of the items have already been returned to their rightful owners which is a great result. We would always advise people to ensure they keep detailed records of any vehicles and equipment they own as it makes it much easier to identify if they are stolen.”
A man has been arrested in relation to this investigation and is currently on police bail pending further enquiries.
